Professional Trainings, Workshops & Facilitated Groups

For Play Therapists, Social Workers, Psychologists, Counselors, School Counselors, Teachers and Helping Professionals

Hi! I’m Mary Beth,

I teach professionals how to understand kids, love working with parents, and have fun doing it.   Let me lead your group in a learning experience grounded in science, full of creative activities, and bustling with energy to sustain their meaningful work.

As a leader of people who work with children, you are driven to nurture and inspire your fellow professionals.  However, the work is hard, and the needs are growing bigger and more complicated.  They need a safe place to lean into their questions, receive support and renew their spark.  I can help you design a one-of-a-kind training that your group is excited to attend and thrilled to implement.

Whether it’s three or 150 people, I help participants dive deep and figure out how to apply interesting new concepts in their daily work. I create a safe and positive learning experience so they can engage in meaningful ways.  I use games, art materials, live interactive tech tools, and powerful experiential activities designed to entertain their brains, get them moving and connecting with others.  Through dynamic discussions, they will hear and learn from each other in powerful ways…And, that’s way better than anything I can put up on a slide.

Every training will get them thinking critically about power, privilege and social identities so they can deliver effective and inclusive services that fit our times. They’ll leave with practical, hands-on tools to implement in their work right away.

Rates

My standard rate is $350 per hour of training, which can be provided in person or via video.  If presenting requires significant travel, additional compensation may be needed for travel and lodging.
